2000: OUR VISION FOR THE FUTURE
Mark Wright wanted to revolutionize his industry. After 32 years as a pharmacist, he knew a break away from current pharmacy practices needed to happen, for the sake of the patient. He asked himself "what if there was a free market solution that would enable us to turn back the clock, eliminate middlemen, and simplify patient care?"
GenScripts was born and established as a unique free market solution that puts the patient at the center. Doctors are empowered. Prices stay competitive and affordable. And patients get well.
2006: PUTTING IT INTO ACTION
In 2006, after three years of preparation, GenScripts opened its first store in Midtown Tulsa, at 41st and Hudson. We opened this location with the purpose to provide patients with quality prescriptions at surprisingly affordable prices, while assisting them in executing their doctor’s care plan.
This new business model allows us to offer customers honest and transparent prescription costs that are based on actual product costs – not what the insurance market dictates.
2012: THE START OF OUR GROWTH
Patients in Broken Arrow now have better access to more affordable medications, with our newest location that opened in 2012 at 81st and Garnett.
2016: WE KEEP GROWING
Another goal achieved for the GenScripts team! We wanted to better serve our Owasso patients, and had the opportunity to open another GenScripts location in 2016 at 96th St. N. and Garnett. All GenScripts locations receive free advice, the highest quality pharmaceuticals, and low prices that can compete successfully with big-box discount pharmacies and large chain drug stores.
2018: SOUTH TULSA/
BIXBY
In an effort to reach our South Tulsa and Bixby neighbors we opened our new location at 109th & Memorial for convenient access to amazingly low prices
2020: FLORIDA
We expanded our pharmacy services to the state of Florida. Now offering hometown delivery service to all Oklahoma and Florida residents.
